You know that moment when you’re standing in the kitchen and you don’t even remember how you got there?
You weren’t in pain. You weren’t even really uncomfortable. But your stomach wasn’t full anymore… so your body sent out the “not full anymore” signal. And your body (muscle memory is so powerful) snapped into action, before your brain could even respond.
And now, you’re standing in your kitchen, with the refrigerator door open, ostensibly to “find food” then, you shake your head like you’re coming out of a trance and look around bewildered. The last thing you remember is relaxing and watching Ryan Gosling on Netflix.
That’s where this little chatbot comes in.
I built a free ChatGPT tool to be a fun, non-judgy interruption.
That’s right, not a diet coach. Not a motivational speaker. Just a friendly pause between that first hunger nudge and the moment you go digging through cabinets like a raccoon at midnight.
I use it because sometimes I just need a second to check in with myself.
If I’m being honest, sometimes forcing myself not to go to the kitchen feels like I’m denying my hunger. But the truth I learned about myself is, that being hungry and not being full are too different things.
I designed this app for myself, (and because I’m awesome, I’m sharing the link). This app is a fun way to take a moment. Check in. Take a breath.
And if you still want to head into the kitchen, at least you’re doing it intentionally, not out of muscle memory because of how you trained your body to react to a “not full” message.
SIDE NOTE: it’s free. It’s called a CustomGPT inside of ChatGPT. So, you need a minimum of the free ChatGPT account, but there’s no catch. I made it because it helps me. And I figured it might help you too.
Because one thing I’ve realized is this:
To lose weight, I don’t need to be in pain. I just need to be okay with not being full all the time.
This tool helps me hold that space.
I hope it helps you too. 💛
